Intelligent Line Drying Time Recorder
Linear drying time recorder (straight line drying time tester) is used to evaluate and analyze the drying stages of paints and coatings according to ASTM D5895. It has 3 independent channels with two working tracks each, supporting separate time setting from 1 minute to 90 hours. Equipped with a 5-inch IPS touch screen, Chinese-English switch, inductive home sensor and high-precision stepper motor. The trajectory query function helps users check different drying phases. Widely used in coating laboratory QC and formulation R&D.
Description
The linear drying time recorder enables comprehensive analysis of samples with different drying characteristics. A stylus with a hemispherical contact tip is mounted on the carriage. Driven by the carriage, the stylus contacts the freshly coated layer and travels longitudinally across the sample starting from one end. The “trajectory query” function allows users to check the corresponding drying stages along the trace. It comes with three independent channels; each channel can be individually configured with any running time and contains two working tracks, complying with ASTM D 5895 standard.
